hi,
We bought a used niigata hmc which has fanuc 6m -b controls with a mitsubishi melsec-k plc.

The machine was not used for a couple of months prior to our purchase .

. We powered the machine , all the parameters are intact, changed the plc battreywhich was dead and we reached a stage that we got all the input signals in the plc but no output signals. we need to get a "run" signal in the plc which means that the 6m and plc are communicating.

We checked e-stop diagnostic, axis limits, overtravel limit and they seem ok .There is a red light flashing on top of the machine

All the boards of the 6m display greenlight so as to say they are ok

We would like to check if the plc memory is ok, unfortunately our local mitsubishi rep does not have a clue. Is there a way we can make the 6m and plc to communicate. Our plc does not have an eprom.

We used to get a NOT READY message but as soon as we got the hydraulic pump started when we pressed the CYCLE READY button the NOT READY was replaced by " LSK INC ",any idea what this means. We understand that Lsk normally flashes when inputting programs thru RS232 which is not the case here.
any suggestions
thanks again
