Ever wonder how to capture individual windows for presentations, etc.? Well, here's an easy way to do it!
To capture a single dialog window Click in the window header:
Press <Alt> + <Print Screen> simultaneously
To capture the entire desktop:
Press <Shift> + <Print Screen>
The image is now on your clipboard ready to be pasted.
Use MS PhotoEditor for editing or saving different file types (JPEG, TIFF, etc.):
Open PhotoEditor
Select Edit > Paste as New Image
The pasted image may appear to be too small and slightly degraded. Pasted VC windows often are seen at 75% view scale by default.
To change the view scale:
Roll the middle mouse to zoom in/out, or click the "Zoom Control" drop-down menu and choose 100%
To crop the image:
Click the "Select" icon (rubberband-box), then trap what you want to keep
Select Image > Crop, OK |
