If your G-code program has blank lines in it when you open it with the Editor then it probably has a non-standard ending to each line.

In one example looking at the file with a text editor each line had a:
0A (LF Line Feed)
0D (CR Carrage Return)
0D (CR Carrage Return)


Normally, we take care of this with the CRLF Object in the DNC but if you are not DNCing then do this:

1. In the Editor use the Strip Blank Lines command then
2. Save the file
3. Open WordPad and then open the file and Save it, this will convert the LF into the correct CR LF combinations.
