I've got a problem with a EMCO 425 CNC lathe, it has a Siemens SINUMERIK 810T control.
The problem is I can receive a CNC program from the machine to a PC OK, however if I try and send a CNC program from the PC to the machine then all I get is a message on the machine display screen stating ALARM No 32 (ORD2 Data incorrect).
Can anybody help me cure this problem. |

try sending the same file that was successful coming out of the CNC back into the CNC. This way you can be assured that you will have the correct "format" of the NC code for the machine. Also, try adding NULLS (\000) to the beginning or end of the program tranmission in the software you are using.
Also, make sure you are using some sort of flow control hardware or software. _________________ --------------------------
Thanks for everything. |
