Top Ten Tips on Travel Photography by Nigel Atherotn
Source Video

1. Get up Early in the morning. Good lighting and few tourists.

2. Use different Focal Lengths like wide and zoom.

3. Zoom in on a subject for a different look or perspective.

4. Try both Landscape and Portrait mode for your subject. You can always crop later to any size.

5. Don't shoot just from eye level, try shooting up or getting above and shooting down.

6. Always carry your camera even a simple compact so that you can always get "the shot."

7. Don't just shoot in Auto mode, try changing the shutter speed for blurred affects, or the aperture for blurred backgrounds.

8. Use flash in daylight to get different lighting affects.

9. Think about the local people in the location. They can be very colorful.

10. Stick around for sunsets and sundown to get different background lighting.
