I've created a database in 2007 but now found out that it will only be used in 2003.
When I open it in 2003 none of my buttons, macros work.
What is going on |

I don't think there is a way.
Access 2007 uses a new type of macro and I believe that all the MS templates use those embedded macros which are NOT backward compatable.
This was a decision made by the MS design team so that they could include templates that could be used without generating security warnings.
They should include a disclamer, however, that the templates cannot be converted to earlier versions.
Sorry! |

Access 2007 uses embedded macros when you create macro event handlers for form controls.
The embedded macro feature was introduced with the 2007 version so if you have any of these, they will not be recognized by Access 2000. _________________ Dawn Mitchell
