2 large onions, sliced
1 beef brisket (3-4 pounds) trimmed of fat
1 bottle (12 oz) beer (good wheat or primium beer, no light or watery)
1/2 cup chili sauce
2 teaspoons dried steak seasoning

1. Place onions in slow cooker. Top with meat. If necessary, cut beef to fit into slow cooker.

2. Mix beer, chili sauce, and steak seasoning. Pour over cut onions and meat.

3. Cover. Cook on low 10 to 12 hours.

4. To serve, remove meat from cooking liquid. Thinly slice meat across grain.

5. Using a slotted spoon, remove onions from cooking liquid and place on top of meat.

Makes 12 servings.
