Here is a site that one of my vendors suggested. It allows you to send someone a file that is up to 100 meg in size. So, if you try to send someone a large file in your e-mail and it gets bounced back or gets filtered out before it ever gets to you recipient, then this is a good tool and it is FREE!
It is called: YouSendIt and it is at: www.yousendit.com
They also have paid options, but for files up to 100 meg, it is free.
UPDATE: 10-13-2011 I think it is now down to 50 meg. _________________ Thanks.

I just tested this, and it does work pretty well and painlessly. _________________ Dawn Mitchell

Another one is Drop Box
http://www.dropbox.com/
They let you create a virtual hard disk out in the "cloud" that you can access from any computer and others can access as well (if given the rights). _________________ --------------------------

I've used Drop Box before. I had to give someone a bunch of photos and I used that to create a shared folder that i could upload to and he could download from.
Worked as advertised. I know he uses the professional version (paid) to keep his various computers in sync. |
