Newbie to the group here..Hello all, nice forum. I need some possible examples of a macro to pick points of departure and "skew" (coordinate rotation) when I use a spindle camera for very small features. I'll be picking up 2, 35µm holes about 2.54in apart. One being my X,Y origin and the other defining the angle I must rotate the coordinate sytem to. I would like this to set either my G54 work shift and the "R" value for angle. Then its machining as usual. Any ideas in those brilliant minds I've witnessed here? Thanks in advance Very Happy

What machine and control make and modle are you using? That will make a big difference.

Matsuura 510 VMC, Yasnac J300M control. Coordinate rotation option on.
Thanks

I have a Titan scope that mounts in the spindle and I've adapted a CCD camera and monitor so the operator can see the tiny features in a larger scale. Works well http://www.titantoolsupply.com/
